Lodi Pedestrian, 75, Critically Injured In Hackensack

A 75-year-old Lodi man was critically injured when he was struck while jaywalking in Hackensack before dawn Wednesday, police said.Jose Gonzalez-Gonzalez was unconscious when he was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck crossing Essex Street near Railroad Avenue at 6:25 a.m. crash, Capt. Nicole Foley said.
